• Priyamani Biography:Priyamani was on June 4, 1984 at Palakkad, Kerala to Vasudeva Mani Iyer and Latha Mani Iyer. She grew up in Bangalore. After completing her schooling, Priyamani modeled for print advertisements. As a result of her extended modeling, she began to earn opportunities to star in films. After being approached by several directors and being considered, She is currently pursuing a degree in B.A. in psychology. She is related to Bollywood actress Vidya Balan, who is a cousin of her.She is an award-winning Indian film actress and model who has acted in several Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam language films. Priyamani is best known for her role in the Tamil film Paruthi Veeran.

 She was the most famous one in her school days and she has done modeling for Kancheepuram silks, Erode silks and Lakshmi silks. After her 12 th standard it was the famous Tamil Director, Bharathiraja who introduced her into film industry.She is best known for earning a National Film Award for Best Actress for her role as Muththazhagu in the 2006 Tamil film Paruthi Veeran, and for her role as Malavika in the 2008 Malayalam film Thirakkatha, for which she won the Filmfare Award for Best Actress (Malayalam). As a result of her extended modeling, she began to earn opportunities to star in films. After being approached by several directors and being considered for roles, she finally starred in director Bharathiraja's Kangalal Kaidhu Sei, which was released in 2004.

Her first film was director Bharathiraja's Kangalal Kaidhu Sei which was released in 2004. This film was flopped and her Telugu debut 'Evare Atagaadu' was also went to the same way.Puthiya Mukham (malayalam), Arumugam (Tamil), Raam (kannada), Ashokavanam (tamil) etc.

She made her presence felt in modeling sector with her assignments for Erode silks, Kancheepuram silks and some other brands, before moving into movie world.She started her career with the film Kangalal Kaithu Sei, which was a flop at the box-office. Afterwards, she was paired with Dhanush in Balu Mahendra's Adhu Oru Kana Kaalam, which flopped at the box-office as well. She is one of the few actresses who star in both critically acclaimed and commercial movies.After several Chennai film industry hits such as Yamadonga, Malaikottai, Paruthi Veeran and Thirakkatha, she has successfully established herself as a promising young actress of the South Indian film industry.

Priya Mani was born on June 4 in Palakkad, Kerala in 1984. She was brought up in Bangalore. She started her film career with her debut film in Kollywood called Kangalal Kaithu Sei alongside actor Vaseegaran. The film was a flop at the box-office and she moved on to Malayalam and Telugu films owing to a lack of offers in Tamil films. She made her Telugu debut in Pellaina Kothalo with Jagapati Babu. Priyamani rose to fame with this film.

Priyamani has made her Tamil comeback with the internationally acclaimed Tamil film Paruthiveeran helmed by Ameer Sultan, starring debutant Karthik Sivakumar. She has also signed on for another Tamil film in which she plays the lead role with actor Jeevan.Priyamani has a great craze for acting and her favorite actors include Mammooty, Anant Nag and Mohanlal. Being a very smart talkative girl, she loves chatting with people and her hobbies include music and dance. She is Bollywood actress Vidya Balan's second cousin. She won the National award for her performance in Paruthiveeran.

In her first film a streak of bad health pulled her down very badly . The first schedule lasted for about 32 days and the songs were picturised in Switzerland. For this entire schedule she was laid down with fever . The second schedule was in scenic Sri Lanka and she was down with an attack of typhoid but still continued to work.
